AIMU Faculty & Students attends CBRD-2016

On 16th, 17th and 18th January 2016, 3rd Caribbean Bio medical and Research Days from The International Stress and Behavior Society Conference was conducted at Dolphin Hotel, Bay Garden Resort. AIMU students and Faculties attended the conference. It was conference marked by the presence of  Doctors who were more actively involved currently in the research field from different parts of the world including India, US, UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Saint Lucia . The theme of the conference was centered around  Neuroscience and Psychiatry.

They were doctors represented from renowned  John Hopkins hospital and dealing new research findings  in  schizophrenia  . Also they were paper presentation from doctors of PGIMR Hospital India ,  speaking about  MOYAMOYA disease and it’s surgical cure .

Doctors from UK talked about chronic pain management and also discussion about ethics. The Doctors from Saint Lucia spoke about the positives and negatives of CANNABIS use. At the end of each lecture, our students and faculties asked a lot of questions to the Doctors and each session turned into lively fashion and it was very interactive. At the end of the Day, the students and faculties had the satisfaction that they gained and benefitted from the conference. The Doctors were more vibrant and responded by saying that next year they expect a lot of AIMU students to attend their conference at 2017.
