What a great experience we had today!
AMSA-AIMU organized an event to raise awareness and address an issue that has become a big concern in St. Lucia for the past five days . There were four suspicious deaths at Victoria hospital that happened to be in close proximity of time to each other. The Ministry of Health and Wellness of St Lucia is concerned about the issue at hand. Lots of teaching was provided by the students of our school in Rodney Bay area. Local people and tourists were very interested to find out about alcohol poisoning and the ways to prevent experiencing tragic consequences. Flyers were provided for the public. Overall, we remained discussing the core topic, but still had lots of fun and had many learning experiences.
