AIMU is committed to serve the local community and, alumni of AIMU are now licensed to practice medicine in St. Lucia. Two AIMU graduates qualified in the regional qualifying examinations of the Caribbean Association of Medical Councils (CAMC) exam and this will be followed by two years training at Caribbean hospitals.
