The American International Medical University (AIMU) has long recognized the importance of accreditation and of offering a high quality education to our students. A team from the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and other Health Professions (CAAM-HP) visited AIMU and affiliated clinical teaching sites at Jamaica and Chicago, United States.
The on site visit was during late March. All faculty and students believe that this learning experience was helpful in planning our integrated program and for further strengthening teaching-learning. Several of our teaching staff plans to attend the CAAM-HP faculty development workshop at Trinidad and Tobago during July this year.
