With this partnership you will be able to complete all your core rotations and electives in one place through ACGME hospitals. No more worries about relocating constantly for clinicals which saves you money and no waiting for clinical rotations to open up!
6 week live STEP 1 board review via CUC offers you proven STEP 1 board review, increasing your chances of passing the boards on your 1st attempt.
Your tuition and fees include access to the acclaimed CUC, getting into Residency Seminar which gives you opportunity to move closer to securing a residency position in the United States.
The Clinical Rotation in St Lucia is provided at St. Jude Hospital where AIM-U has established formal affiliations. Students have unique opportunity to directly interact with patients, participating in diagnostic procedures, treatment, rounds etc.
Basic Science program curriculum is derived mainly from the American medical education system, integrated with certain European elements of studying medicine. The main campus in St. Lucia is 100000 sq. ft. technologically rich modern facility located in the spectacular serene atmosphere. The learning support system also makes the campus very attractive.
5th Semester in the USA can be done in one of the following states and districts – Georgia, Illinois, Washington DC, New York, Virginia and Maryland. The program includes Introduction to Clinical Medicine in Hospital setting and Board Review course.

Transfer Applicants: Admission requirements and Fees
Students who are currently enrolled or who have been previously enrolled in a medical school which is approved by the WHO, NBME or other similar accredited or recognized body may apply to AIM-U with advanced standing. Transfer applicants must have their transcripts submitted directly to the AIMU Transfer admissions office from the registrar of every school that they attended. Upon evaluation of the transcripts the transfer student will be placed into the appropriate level.

- The application form must be completed and signed
- A check for $200 US dollars must be included
- Legible copy of your passport’s information page
- Five (5) passport size photos* (no older than 12 months)
- Original Police Background check* (no older than 6 months)
- Physical Examination
- Record of Immunization (must be dated within the last 10years) : Varicella, Hepatitis B, Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR),Tetanus and annual PPD.
- USMLE Step 1 history report (if available)

Step 3 Matriculation
As soon as your file is completed, the admissions committee will meet to discuss your admission to the university. An interview will then be scheduled with the admissions committee. The interview may be conducted in person, over telephone or via video conference. Successful candidates will be notified.
The admitted students can start clinical rotations within 2 weeks of fulfilling all admission requirements for the School – There Is No Waiting Period.
