Preparing exam schedules & Invigilation schedule
Emailing to students & lecturers any updates
Preparing the attendance
Sending monthly attendance and exam report to the CEO
Creating official exam Master Id for student & faculties
Conducting demonstrating of exam software for all new students and faculties
Setting up the exams in coordination with the examination committee and collecting all the exam questions and answers from the faculties as a backup and for preparing question banks.
Supplying the examination attendance sheet, question paper and relevant papers and documents
Taking necessary step against any examinee for any anti disciplinary behavior in the examination halls
In case of paper based exam, script from examination centre is sent to examination committee for moderating the exams
Supervising during examinations
Preparing the examination reports and reporting to the board members and the dean
Sending out the excel grade sheets to all the faculties, collect the grades from the faculties and tabulating, drafting of tabulation sheet and submitting it to promotions committees for review
Facilitating publication of results in time
Issuing mark sheets, transcripts, certificate as desired
Preparing the list of students who topped in each semester and arranging for the certificate for appreciation
Preparing class schedule and sending it to all faculties and students
Organising orientation for all new students
Carrying out the registration process for all students during the beginning of each semester
Maintaining student files and ensure confidentiality of information
Preparing academic calendar for every semester
Updating academic bulletin along with the dean and faculty committees
Coordinating with University departments to prepare update and provide access o university systems and evaluate all graduation process and list
Maintaining student database
Assisting in AMSA and SGA election and activities
Verifying documents based on the requirements of Medical council and Nursing council
Mrs. Sahana Salins is currently working as a Acting Registrar and Examination Controller at American International Medical University, Saint Lucia. Mrs. Sahana Salins obtained her MSc (Medical Anatomy) from Manipal University, India. She also received her BSc (Bachelor of Science) from Mangalore University, India.
She joined American International Medical University as a Lecturer in Oct 2011. She taught Anatomy and Physiology to PREMED students and Intro to Histology and Histology to PREMED and MED students. She was also working as Assistant Examination Controller.
Previously she worked at Kasturba Medical College International Centre in Manipal, India from 2008-2010 as a Lecturer in Department of Anatomy where she taught Gross Anatomy and Embryology Theory and Lab and Histology Theory and Lab to MBBS, PREMED and Pharm D students.
In 2014 she was promoted to Acting Registrar and Examination Controller at AIMU. Her prime responsibility is to supervise and manage all administrative and operational functions of the Office of the Registrar.
